Above all: Analysis of Medical Images is our core competence and we are proud to say, “this is what we are really good at”. We use the proprietary software AMIRA developed by our IT experts.

The process of analysis which is carried out after all the relevant checks have been performed (see quality assurance), comprises several steps: marking of lesions (i.e. making even subtle degenerative or pathological changes visible), segmentation (determination of the size of the lesions which is the basis for determination of their volume), and finally computation of the collected data to produce a whole body of interpretable information.

The computation, data management, including storage and retrieval of data is done by our IT experts (Pascal Kuster and Stefan Traud).
