Quality on our side is one story; quality on the side of the involved worldwide study centers is another story. Before we accept study data from study centers they have to prove their quality with dummy runs performed with healthy subjects. Not only the quality of the medical images is checked but also the identification and labeling of the transferred data is controlled. For the reason of data privacy protection, double blind studies are carried out, and because of the necessity to identify individual patients, particular care is given to the coding and decoding of the pertinent data. Comparison of data from the same patient over a longer period of time requires the ability on the side of the involved study centers to scan the same patient time after time in identical positions. To check this is also part of our quality assurance procedure. Equally important is the performance of the employed scanners, i.e. the resolution rendered, which is also monitored by us.

Only after all these checks have been performed the provided data will be stored in our system for analysis.
